Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, why, and how you can control them. Short and honest.

Effective date: 1 May 2026 · Last updated: 1 May 2026

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit. Cookies are used to remember preferences, to make websites work, and (in many cases) to track you across sites for advertising purposes.

2. Our position on tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or any other third-party tracking technology.

For website analytics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and respects your privacy.

This is a deliberate choice. We believe radical transparency about what we collect and what we don't collect builds more trust than a cookie banner that nobody reads.

3. Cookies we do use

We use only strictly necessary cookies — the ones the website needs to function properly. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

CookiePurposeDurationSet by
__cf_bm Cloudflare bot management — distinguishes between legitimate human visitors and automated bots. Required for the site to load. 30 minutes Cloudflare
cf_clearance Cloudflare security challenge — issued after passing a security check to confirm you are not a bot. 30 days Cloudflare

4. If you book a call

When you click the "Book a 30-minute call" button, you will be redirected to our third-party scheduling provider (currently Cal.com). Cal.com may set its own cookies on its own domain. Cal.com is GDPR-compliant and you can review its cookie practices at cal.com/privacy. We do not control or read the cookies Cal.com sets on its own site.

5. How to disable or delete cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. The instructions below cover the main browsers:

If you block the cookies we use, parts of the website may not work correctly. The Cloudflare cookies are required for the site to load — if you block them, the site may refuse to serve you because it cannot distinguish you from a bot.

6. Do Not Track

This website honours the Do Not Track (DNT) signal where your browser sends one. Since we do not track in the first place, the practical effect is the same regardless of whether you set DNT or not.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce a new cookie — for example, by embedding a video player that requires one — we will update this page first and notify visitors. We will not introduce tracking or advertising cookies without your explicit consent.

8. Contact

If you have a question about cookies on this website, write to info@latviaresidence.com. See also our Privacy Policy for the broader picture on data protection.
